Ashworth Road Closed for Repairs Beginning Wednesday

Parts of Ashworth Road will be closed starting Wednesday for street patching. The project will be done in phases and is expected to take up to three weeks to complete.

Beginning Wednesday, Ashworth Road from 88th Street north of I-80 to 88th Street south of I-80 will be closed for street patching.

According to the map, phase I (red phase) should be completed in approximately one week. Phase II (blue stage) will also take a week to complete. Phase III (yellow stage) will be the final stage and is expected to be complete within a few days. Total closure time is expected to be 2-3 weeks.

The posted detour route will be Ashworth Road to J. Avenue (in Waukee) to University Avenue to Jordan Creek Parkway to Ashworth Road. There are message boards on both Ashworth Road and 88th Street with information about the closures.
