• Waukee Elementary School employee accused of being intoxicated while caring for children (who13.com) — Police arrested a Waukee Elementary School employee Monday evening after staff reported signs of intoxication while the employee was supervising about 30 children in an after-school setting. Officers say they detected alcohol and found a bottle appearing to contain wine before making an arrest on child endangerment and related charges. The Waukee Community School District has been asked for comment but has not yet responded.
