Ashworth Theatre Company Announces Winter Workshops

Registration is open now for the Ashworth Theatre Company's winter workshops. 

The classes, for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, will cover beginner basics, do-it-yourself theatre, and improvisation. Young participants will recharge, re-energize, and rehearse while having fun and learning theatre skills.

The workshops are One Morning Only for grades K-2, DIY Theatre for grades 3-6, and All About Improv! for grades 7-12. The K-6 classes will be held on Jan. 5, 2013 and the improv class will be Jan. 18, 2013 at ArtsCentral in Waukee.

The Ashworth Theatre Company was founded by sisters Mackie and Violet Saylor, both graduates of Waukee High School. The Company's inaugural season was held last summer.
