Waukee City Employees Honored for Service Milestones
Employees were honored for hitting service milestones, ranging from five to 20 years as a Waukee employee.

Waukee City Council members took time at their Monday, July 1, meeting to recognize service milestones for some city workers.
The employees were given certificates of appreciation for working a certain number of years, ranging from five to 20 years of service.
Mayor Bill Peard announced the names and number of years each employee has worked for the city.

“We appreciate everybody’s help that they do and sometimes it’s a very thankless job,” Peard said. “They work hard and they do that for you.”
