Chad Proehl Tied for 12th in 2012 Iowa PGA Professional Championship
Chad Proehl, a golf pro at Sugar Creek Golf Course is tied for 12th place going into day two of the 2012 Iowa PGA Professionsal Championship.
Chad Proehl, a golf pro at the in Waukee, is tied for 12th place after one day of play in the 2012 Iowa PGA Professional Championship in Ames.
Proehl played two rounds Monday shooting a 72 in the first and a 69 in the second for an overall score of 141. He's one under par going into day two of the two-day tournament.
The tournament is being held at Ames Golf & Country Club this week. The top five finishers will advance to the 46th PGA Professional National Championship held in June 2013. The champion also qualifies for the 2013 PGA Tour John Deere Classic.Â

Proehl, 44, has already qualified for the 46th PGA Professional National Championship. He finished in which automatically qualifies him for the 2013 event.
Proehl is a past champion of the Iowa PGA Professional Tournament. He won the title in 2010.
