Water and Wastewater Workers Week is Sept. 19-25 throughout Iowa. The City of Waukee thanks its water and wastewater (sewer) operators, including utility locators! Their daily work helps to preserve and protect public health and promotes sustainability in our way of living.

"The City’s water and wastewater employees' efforts to deliver safe and reliable drinking water to our homes and collect wastewater for treatment ensures community safety," said Waukee Public Works Director Rudy Koester. "They all do a lot that goes unseen, but it is pivotal to the health of Waukee residents."
