Desmund Adams' Summer Kickoff Fundraiser will be held Thursday, June 28 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Wellman's Pub & Rooftop, 597 Market St., West Des Moines (in the West Glen shopping complex.) Former Leutenant Gov. Jo Ann Zimmerman will be a special guest at the fundraiser.
