Waukee Council Member Darlene Stanton has resigned from the council, effective October 18, 2011. She was first sworn in as a council member in June 2003. In recognition of her years of service as a City elected official, an open house reception will be held in the Waukee City Council Chambers. The public is invited to come enjoy cake and punch and wish Council Member Stanton the best.
