Waukee's Middle Schools Present "Oklahoma"

The action has moved to the Theatre Arts Center as more than 75 seventh graders from Waukee’s two middle schools prepare for performances of the student version of "Oklahoma."

Actors are working on songs, dances, lines and even fight moves while crew members are gathering costumes and props and working to bring the world of the musical to life.

This production will also received help from a high school choreographer, high school technical crew members and eighth graders who are helping to teach the students about the theatre and performing.
