Here's what's going on in Waukee today and some other stuff you might want to know.

1) Waukee Football vs Ottumwa

The Waukee sophomore and varsity football teams will play Ottumwa tonight at Waukee Stadium. The sophomores play at 5 p.m. The varsity team plays at 7:30 p.m.

2) Small Group Sign Up at Point of Grace

From 7-9 p.m. people interested in signing up for one of the many small group discussions can come to Point of Grace Church from 7 to 9 tonight. The focus of these small groups is to gather and discuss the Bible and the issues of life. For more information, go to the Point of Grace website.

Fancy yourself a singer? Stop by tonight at 9 p.m. for their weekly karaoke night. The also has a full menu and bar if you're more into listening than crooning.

5) Did You Know?

Did you know you can show your Waukee Warrior pride on your driveway or sidewalk? The Waukee Vocal Music Boosters will come to your house and spray paint the famous purple "W" for $20 or $30 depending on size. All proceeds go to support vocal music in the Waukee Schools, K-12.
