Has Steve King Finally Said Too Much
GOP strategist said he is tired of what Steve King is saying.

A Republican strategist and friend of Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad, Doug Gross, said he is “sick and tired” of Iowa Congressman Steve King.
“I’m frankly, as a Republican, as one who’s been involved with our party for a long time, sick and tired of what Steve King is saying. We have people who understand that legal immigration helps invigorate our economy,” Gross told WHOTV, as reported by the Des Moines Register.
King recently said that an immigration official told him that more people have been killed by undocumented workers than the total number of people killed in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, according to an article in the Huffington Post.

Gross was criticizing those remarks after being told about them out of context, according to the Iowa Republican.
"At the Nebraska event, King spoke about the need to simply enforce the immigration laws that are already on the books. That’s hardly a controversial position, but those who favor legalizing the millions of illegal immigrants already in the county took the opportunity to find something controversial in King’s remarks and use those words to discredit the western Iowa Congressman," the Republican said.
