Iowa Picked Obama; Here's How Waukee Voted

Iowa may have voted Obama but Waukee was predominantly Romney country.

As people across the country are digesting the results of yesterday's general election, local voters can see the breakdown of votes right here in Waukee.

While Iowa was majority in favor of re-electing President Barack Obama, Dallas County chose Mitt Romney with 20,921 votes. Obama received 16,466.

In Waukee, five of six precincts chose Romney to win. Waukee precincts 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 all voted in favor of Romney. Only in Waukee 2 did Obama come out the victor with a mere 60 votes. over Romney.
