PHOTOS: New Beginnings Childcare & Preschool

On Oct. 8, the New Beginnings Childcare Center & Preschool officially opened for business in its new location at 100 Fourth St. in Waukee.

Standing in the shadow of the Heartland Co-op, the new building is approximately 7,700 square-feet with six rooms accommodating children from 6 weeks to kindergarten age. The center also has a kitchen and a large, indoor play area.

You can see the new space for yourself this tonight (Thursday) at an open house from 6-7 p.m. The building will be open to anyone wanting to come by and take a look. Center director Lori Moritz said the event coincides with the center's Fall Festival so bring the kids in their costumes, grab a cookie and juice and take a tour of the new facility.
