Police Blotter: Halloween Decor Fails to Scare Away Thieves
A Waukee homeowner says thieves snatched a piece of Halloween decor from his home.
A popular piece of Halloween decor failed to scare away theives in one Waukee neighborhood last week.
On the morning of Oct. 16, a homeowner in the 400 block of Painted Woods Drive reported an object missing from his front porch. Thieves had allegedly snatched a scarecrow from the home. It was valued at $50.
No other damage was reported to the residence.
