Police Blotter Rewind: Burglary to a Vehicle, OWI, Accidents and a Suspended Driver

Burglary to a Vehicle

A van owned by Windstream Communications of Des Moines was parked at a residence in the 200 block of Terrace Drive on the evening of Oct. 10.

The next morning, it was reported that burglars allegedly took a portable fiber optic tester and a hard plastic case from the vehicle overnight. The loss was estimated at $5,145.

OWI

An Indianola woman was arrested in Waukee last week for allegedly driving while intoxicated.

Ryann Ginkens, 31, was pulled over on Oct. 12 around 10:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of University Avenue. Ginkens' breath alcohol content was reported at .124.

Ginkens was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated (first offense.)
