Police Blotter: Several Incidents of Criminal Mischief Reported in Waukee

Waukee police responded to multiple reports of criminal mischief in Waukee last week.

Waukee police responded to several reports of criminal mischief last week in Waukee.

On Nov. 20, damage to a bill changer was reported at the Waukee Car Wash in the 400 block of Ashworth Drive. No money was taken but the machine sustained $300 in damages.

Also Nov. 20, two similar incidents of criminal mischief were reported. Around 10:30 a.m., a pumpkin was thrown at a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Southeast Westgate Drive causing $350 damage.

A while later, at 11:05 a.m., a vehicle parked in the 900 block of Southeast Westgate Drive sustained $300 in damage, also the result of a thrown pumpkin.

Then, on Nov. 21, a Waukee woman reported a broken window on a car parked in the 100 block of Southeast Pleasant View Drive. Damage was estimated at $500.
