A few traffic accidents were reported in Waukee last week.

Sept. 7
A vehicle driven by Jenna Carey of Waukee was struck by a vehicle driven by Tranh Lee of Clive. Vehicle damage was estimated at $1,100. Lee was cited for failure to obey a stop sign and yield right.

A vehicle driven by Shanlyn Doll of Adel was struck by a vehicle driven by Seth Applegate of Adel. Vehicle damage was estimated at $2,000. Applegate was cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance and failure to prove insurance.
