Police Blotter: Teens Arrested for Stealing Booze

Several teens from Waukee and Urbandale were arrested last week for allegedly stealing alcohol from a local convenience store.

Four area teenagers were arrested last week for stealing alcohol from a Waukee convenience store.

On June 26, two 15 year-old boys from Urbandale and a 15-year-old boy from Waukee were caught on surveillance tape allegedly taking booze from a Kum & Go store in the 300 block of University Avenue. The three juveniles were arrested and charged with two counts each of stealing alcohol.

A fourth teen, also 15, from Waukee, was arrested and charged with one count of stealing alcohol.

All four juveniles turned themselves in to the . Their cases will be referred to juvenile court.
