Last Friday night was kind of a big deal if you were a Waukee Warrior. Apparently, it was more than just students celebrating Waukee's win over Des Moines Roosevelt.

Around 10 p.m. Friday night, Sept. 21, Dennis Caruthers, 65, of Urbandale, was arrested at the intersection of Alice's and Hickman Roads for operating a vehicle while intoxicated (first offense). Caruthers was also charged with carrying a weapon.
