Police: Waukee Man Arrested for Assault Twice in One Night

It was a classic case of boy versus girl, boy versus friend.

In the early morning hours of Sept. 8, Waukee police responded to a call in the 20 block of Southeast Windfield Parkway where an argument between a young couple ended in assault. 

The female victim fled to a friend's home where she called 911. The male located the victim and began assaulting the victim's friend. 

Tanner Edwards, 20, of Waukee was arrested and charged with both domestic assault and simple assault as a result of the two incidents.
