Sunday's CROP Walk Benefits Waukee Area Christian Services Food Pantry and Free Clinic

A 5k walk from Adel to Waukee on Sunday will help reduce hunger and poverty in Dallas County.

If you're looking for an easy way to give back to your community all while getting a little exercise in, you might check out the 2012 CROP Walk for World Hunger this Sunday in Adel.

The 2012 CROP Walk for World Hunger is a 5.5 mile walk sponsored by Church World Service, an international relief, development, and refugee resettlement agency. Money raised by the CROP Walk is used to provide food, medical care, disaster relief, and self-help development for needy people around the world.

What's even better is that 25 percent of the money raised at the Dallas County CROP Walk will be distributed to local agencies including the Waukee Area Christian Services Food Pantry and Free Clinic in the lower level of the Westview Church.
