The Jingle Bell Run Comes to Waukee Today

The Jingle Bell Run/Walk, an event that sheds light on arthritis, will be held in Waukee today at Kosama Waukee beginning at 8 a.m.

Organizers of the 2012 Jingle Bell Run/Walk want you to don your antlers and jingle bells for a good cause today.

The Arthritis Foundation's Jingle Bell Run/Walk is designed to raise awareness for America’s leading cause of disability - arthritis. The event raises money for research, health education and government advocacy to improve the lives of people with arthritis.

Runners and walkers alike are encouraged to tie jingle bells to their shoelaces, don festive holiday costumes and join friends and neighbors in support of the Arthritis Foundation’s mission to prevent, control and cure arthritis and its related diseases.
