Two Sugar Creek Golf Pros Receive Honors at Iowa PGA Awards Ceremony
Sugar Creek golf professionals Chad Proehl and Sarah Bidney have both received special honors in the sport of golf.
Two Waukee golf professionals each received honors last week for exceptional performances in the sport of golf.
Chad Proehl, a golf pro at Sugar Creek Golf Course in Waukee, received the 2012 Iowa PGA Player of the Year award at the All Star Pro Golf luncheon last Friday at the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort in Riverside.
This is the second time Proehl has been awarded the honor in the last three years. He received it for the first time in 2010.

Sarah Bidney, also a Sugar Creek pro, received the Teacher of the Year designation at the awards luncheon. Bidney has also received the award once before, in 2010.
Both Proehl and Bidney are instructors at Sugar Creek teaching lessons to golfers at every level.
