The Village at Legacy Pointe Now Under New Ownership
Watermark Retirement Communities has acquired the Village at Legacy Pointe retirement home in Waukee.

Watermark Retirement Communities, Inc., one of America’s leading operators of senior living communities, has acquired and assumed management of The Village at Legacy Pointe in Waukee.
Located at 1650 S.E. Holiday Crest Circle, has capacity for 185 residents, including 80 in Independent Living, 40 in Assisted Living, 48 in Healthcare/Skilled Nursing and 17 in Memory Care. Yvonne (Vonnie) Potter is the Executive Director.

In addition, Watermark has acquired and assumed management of Vriendschap Village in Pella, Iowa. Watermark has also assumed management of two other Central Iowa senior living communities – Vintage Hills Retirement Community of Indianola, Iowa and Vintage Hills Retirement Community at Prairie Trail of Ankeny, Iowa
Iowa-based Ewing Land Development & Services was the previous owner of the four communities and remains owner of Vintage Hills at Prairie Trail and Vintage Hills of Indianola. No terms of the transaction were announced.

We’re ready to build on their success and implement Watermark’s signature programs and services to make them truly extraordinary places to live and work. We expect the management transition to be relatively smooth and we’re looking forward to the process. All current employees will be retained as part of the transition.”
