Waukee Author Lora Lee Colter to Discuss New Book at Waukee Public Library
Former Waukee resident Lora Lee Colter will discuss her first book and sign autographs at the Waukee Public Library Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m.
Former Waukee resident and author Lora Lee Colter will be in Waukee Tuesday to discuss her book, "The Concierge: Hotel Secrets."
The event will be held at the Waukee Public Library on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and refreshments will be served.
"The Concierge," a mystery, is about a young hotel concierge working at one of America's most upscale hotels. The concierge, Ariel Sterling, stumbles onto a dark secret that puts her life in danger.

Colter lived in Waukee for 18 years prior to moving to the Lake of the Ozarks in June of this year. According to the book's Facebook Page, she was inspired to write "The Concierge" after having worked in the hotel industry herself. Colter says residents of Waukee will appreciate the fictional references in the book to a few familiar people and places in town. It's Colter's first book.
