Waukee Author Wendy Delsol Releases Fourth Book

Waukee author Wendy Delsol has just released her fourth book.

The book entitled "Flock" is the third of the young adult trilogy that includes "Stork" and "Frost." "Flock" finds the series' main character Katla "confronting an untenable pact, a threat against all allies—including her super-powered sidekick and boyfriend, Jack—and the advent of an ancient prophecy that risks everything."

Delsol, a Michigan native who moved to Waukee seven years ago, also authored "The McCloud Home for Wayward Girls."

There will be launch party tonight at Beaverdale Books, 2629 Beaver Ave., in Des Moines beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Copies of "Flock" and Delsol's other books will be available for sale at tonight's event.
