Waukee Family YMCA Announces Extended Hours
The Waukee Family YMCA will be open longer starting after Sept. 1.

The hours that the is open will be extended beginning Sept. 1.
The Waukee Y will now be open an half an hour earlier, starting at 4:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. Additionally, the facility will open at 9 a.m. on Sundays, which is an hour earlier than it had been previously open.
Child Watch at the Waukee Y has also expanded its hours and will now be open from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
“We’re opening the facility earlier on these days and adding child care to meet our members’ needs and requests,” said Eric Kress, executive director of the Waukee Y.
Plans are also underway to add additional mid-day exercise classes at the Waukee Y. Those classes will be announced at a later date.
