Waukee Hosts 2012 Waukee Marching Band Festival and Invitational Today

March on over to Waukee Stadium today for the Waukee Band Festival and Invitational.

Waukee High School will host the Waukee Band Festival and Invitational today at Waukee Stadium.

Waukee is hosting the Marching Band Festival for the sixth consecutive year. The festival is a statewide marching band competition sponsored by the Iowa High School Music Association. The event runs from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students.

The 7th annual Waukee Band Invitational will immediately follow the state Festival at 5 p.m. Cost for the evening session is $10 for adults and $5 for students.

In addition, Stivers Ford Lincoln and the Waukee Band Parents are partnering for Ford’s Drive 4 UR School event from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. which allows members of the community to test drive any brand new Ford vehicle and for each test drive, Stivers will donate $20 to the Waukee Band. You must be 18 years or older.
