Waukee Police Blotter: August 2-6
Waukee Poice responded to several calls ranging from peddling without a permit to OWIs and traffic accidents.

August 2
Leslie Pihlblad of West Des Moines reported a burglary to a residence in the 600 Block of Woodcrest Drive.

Logan Stripe, 17, of Waukee was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
Dylan Anderson, 17, of West Des Moines was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

August 3
Platinum Painting of Urbandale reported a burglary to a resident in the 60 block of Broderick Drive.
Jason Furden, 33, of Lawrence, Kan. was arrested and charged with driving wile suspended.
John Hartman, 28, of Schererville, Ind. was arrested and charged with peddling without a permit.
Tonya Swanson, 37, of Signal Mountain, Tenn., was arrested and charged with peddling without a permit.
Dale Duhaime, 20, of Saint Clair Shores, Mich. was arrested and charged with peddling without a permit.
Megan Walker, 38, of Waukee was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated (first offense).
August 4
A vehicle driven by Matthew Hines, 20, of Waukee lost control and ended up in a ditch. Damages were estimated at $6,000. Hines was cited for failure to maintain control and operating while intoxicated (first offense).
The City of Waukee reported a burglary to a storage building in the 1200 block of Sixth Street.
A parked vehicle in the 100 block of SE Laurel Street was struck by an unknown vehicle. Damage was estimated at $800.
August 6
A vehicle driven by Paul Holmes of Urbandale was struck by a vehicle driven by Matthew Short of Booneville. Damages were estimated at $16,000. Short was cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
A vehicle driven by Jacob Zentz of Waukee was struck by a vehicle driven by Chase Esmay of West Des Moines. Vehicle damage was estimated at $100. Esmay was cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance and operation of a vehicle with expired registration.
