Waukee Police Blotter: August 20-28

August 20

A 15-year-old was arrested and charged with burglary to a vehicle in the 300 block of Corene Avenue.

August 22

A vehicle driven by Coleen Torrey of Waukee was struck by a vehicle driven by Taylor Else of West Des Moines. Vehicle damage wa estimated at $2,200.

August 23

A vehicle driven by Jessica Radebaugh of Granger was struck by a vehicle driven by Shelly Kitzman of Clive. Vehicle damage was estimated at $1,200. Kitzman was charged with failure to maintain control.

Zachary Setterburg, 33, of Perry was arrested and charged with driving while suspended and no proof of insurance.

Pedro Cortes, 20, of Waukee was arrested and charged with driving while suspended. 

August 24

Robert Novak, 52, of Des Moines was arrested in Polk County on a Waukee Police warrant for fourth degree theft.

Terry Burns of Waukee reported criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 700 block of Collins Drive.

Sheral Coppick, 53, of Waukee was arrested and charged with public intoxication.

August 25

A vehicle driven by Holli Bartelt of Waukee was struck by a vehicle driven by Pamela Brunch of Woodward. Vehicle damage was estimated at $4,000.

Warriors Lanes reported a theft in the 100 block of Southeast Laurel Street.

August 26

A vehicle driven by Remzija Mrzljak-Pajazetovic of Waukee was struck by a bicycle driven by Jacob Conn of Waukee. Vehicle damage was estimated at $1,500.

August 27

Richard Burns of Des Moines was arrested and charged with domestic assault in the 400 block of Waukee Avenue.

David Zurbrigen of Waukee reported a theft in the 700 block of Collins Drive.

Erin Lantz of Waukee reported criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 200 block of Fifth Street.

August 28

Jodi Jacobsen of Waukee reported a theft in the 1000 block of Collins Drive.
