Waukee Police Blotter: August 26 - Sept. 5

Waukee Police responded to a variety of calls this week ranging from traffic accidents to minors in possession of alcohol.

August 26

Tanner Santry, 17, of Waukee was arrested and charged with minor in possession of alcohol.

Elijah Dudley-Fox, 17, of Urbandale was arrested and charged with minor in possession of alcohol.

August 29

A vehicle driven by Donald Graves of Ankeny was struck by a vehicle driven by Katie Burroughs of Waukee. Vehicle damage was estimated at $800.

August 30

A vehicle driven by Brent Merkley of Waukee was struck by a vehicle driven by Myra Hawbaker of Waukee. Vehicle damage was estimated at $2,500. Hawbaker was cited for failure to yield to vehicle on right.

August 31

A vehicle driven by Jacque Marie Rich of Des Moines was struck by a vehicle driven by Allyson Wyn McCroskey of Waukee. Vehicle damage was estimated at $2,000. McCroskey was cited for failure to yield upon entering a through highway.

September 1

David Allen Hallman of Waukee reported identity theft in the 1600 block of Hawthorne Ridge Drive.

Shottenkirk Chevrolet reported a theft in the 700 block of West Hickman Road.

Todd Allen Kimball, 44, of Waukee was arrested and charged with failure to appear on a Polk County warrant.

Staycee Deeneen Richmond, 48, of Waukee was arrested and charged with failure to appear on a Dallas County warrant.

Sandra Kirkman of Waukee reported harassment in the 400 block of Southeast Cardinal Lane.

September 2

Nicholas Johnson of Waukee reported a burglary in the 500 block of Southeast Williams Court.

Alexandra Glee Lapole, 22, of Waukee was arrested and charged with failure to appear on a Dallas County warrant.

Matthew Aaron Bird, 36, of Waukee was arrested and charged with domestic assault.

Karen Dluhos, a representative of the Waukee Arts Council, reported criminal mischief in the 400 block of Maple Street.

September 5

Natalie Rae Boswell of Waukee reported an attempted burglary in the 1000 block of Mansfield Drive.
