Waukee Schools' Sharon Ingebrand Takes Position with Ankeny Schools

Sharon Ingebrand has accepted a position with the Ankeny schools.

Ingebrand will be Ankeny's new director of curriculum, assessment and professional development. She will begin there July 9.

She has served the as an elementary math strategist, assistant principal of , instructional strategist, and most recently, executive director of professional development and consultative services.

Ingebrand's departure follows closely on the heels of another Waukee administrator, Duane Magee, who was . He began his new position July 1.

Dave Wilkerson, superintendent of the Waukee Community School district, no immediate plans have been made to fill the open positions.

"We'll take our time and look at our organizational structure again before moving forward filling the position," he said.
