Waukee Woman Wins the Lottery

Remember the old Publisher's Clearinghouse adage - "You can't win if you don't play?" Well, one Waukee woman played and won big.

Angela Snedeker of Waukee has won a top prize of $100,000 playing the Iowa Lottery’s “Gemstone 10s” instant-scratch ticket game, according to the Iowa Lottery officials.

Snedeker claimed her prize on Aug. 14 at the Iowa Lottery’s headquarters in Des Moines. She bought her winning ticket at a Casey’s convenience store in Newton.
