Waukee YMCA Inches Closer to Playground Fundraising Goal
The Waukee Family YMCA is getting ever closer to its fundraising goal of $40,000 for a new playground.

More than $3,400 was contributed to the YPlayground Campaign through a silent auction held at the in July.
The silent auction raised $3,461 in donations and item bids to help construct a handicap accessible playground structure complete with roll-up panels, soft rubberized or tile flooring, and shade. The project will enhance the Waukee Y’s ability to nurture the development of all youth served in the branch’s ChildWatch program.
