Peoples Bank & Trust Celebrates Five Years in Banking
Stop by today anytime from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. when the bank will be serving free hot dogs and hamburgers to celebrate five years of business in Waukee. If you miss it today, stop by next Friday to grab your free lunch and give them a high five for five years.

"Rio" at the Waukee Public Library
Come out to the today for the weekly afternoon movie series. The Library will be showing "Rio" today at 2 p.m. The movie is free and open to the public and includes popcorn. Next week's show will be "The Adventures of Tin Tin."

SWING Dance Classes at ArtsCentral
Shim Sham
As every dance has at least one very famous line dance, Swing has the Shim Sham. It was danced frequently in the 30s & 40s and is still danced by all over the world today. Learn it from start to finish at from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. and add a few versatile dance steps to your dance vocabulary! Kids and whole families welcome.
East Coast Swing
East Coast swing is a 6-count dance that can be intertwined with all types of dances, and it's the beginning of learning the fundamentals of swing. In this class you will learn a basic step, and inside turn, outside turn, and Texas Tommy! Ages 16 and older are welcome to participate. The class meets from 1-3 p.m.

Sister Sara and Brian Allen at Mickey's Irish Pub
Come out and listen to the sounds of both Sister Sara and Brian Allen at Saturday at 9 p.m. Sister Sara is a band playing everying from rock to blues and then some. Brian Allen is an acoustic musician. There is no cover charge to attend.
