Weekend Happenings in Waukee: Painting, 'Puss in Boots,' and More

Looking for a little weekend fun? Check out what's happening in Waukee, July 27-29.

Friday

Exploration in Painting

Teenagers 14-17 are invited to participate in an Exploration in Painting at today beginning at 2 p.m. Taught by Waukee artist Wendy Rounds, cost for the class is $25 and all materials are provided. Young artists are encouraged to wear a smock or old clothing.

"Puss in Boots" at the Waukee Public Library

Get out of the heat and come out to the today for the last movie of the afternoon movie series. The Library will be showing "Puss in Boots" today at 2 p.m. The movie is free and open to the public and includes popcorn.
