The Waukee Warriors will face the Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln Lynx tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Council Bluffs. Waukee Patch will have a live feed of the game tonight starting at 7 p.m.

2012 Marching Band Festival and Waukee Invitational

Waukee is hosting the Marching Band Festival for the sixth consecutive year at Waukee Stadium. The festival is a statewide marching band competition sponsored by the Iowa High School Music Association. The event runs from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students.

The 7th annual Waukee Band Invitational will immediately follow the state Festival at 5 p.m. Cost for the evening session is $10 for adults and $5 for students.

Stivers Ford Lincoln's Drive 4 UR School Event at Waukee Stadium

Stivers Ford Lincoln and the Waukee Band Parents are partnering for Ford’s Drive 4 UR School event from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Waukee Stadium during the 2012 Marching Band Festival. Ford's Drive 4 UR School allows members of the community to test drive any brand new Ford vehicle and for each test drive, Stivers will donate $20 to the Waukee Band. You must be 18 years or older to take a test drive.

Halloween Bootique at Aloft Gallery

Come out to the Aloft Gallery Saturday at 4 p.m. for the Halloween Bootique. The event promise spooky but whimsical Halloween decor and accessories, one-of-a-kind original artwork, and pet costumes. Come as you are or in costume. Enjoy free treats and enter the drawing to win free gift. The event goes from 4-8 p.m. Saturday.

Pie in the Sky Band at Mickey's Irish Pub

Come out and listen to the sounds of Lesson 7 at Mickey's Irish Pub Saturday at 9 p.m. Lesson 7 is a great party band playing a creative combination of rock, hip-hop and alternative music. There is no cover charge to attend.
