Donald Trump To Crowd: Beat Up Tomato-Throwers, I'll Pay Legal Fees

The Donald doesn't mess around with political produce.

Donald Trump told a crowd Monday in Iowa that he would pay the legal fees of anybody who beat up tomato-wielding protesters at his rally.

At a University of Iowa rally last Tuesday, Trump was the target of a tossed tomato, and a 28-year-old man was arrested for his missed throw.

Monday, Trump was warned of a possible repeat incident. So he encouraged his supporters to ”knock the crap out of” anyone seen with the political produce.

And if a tomato-thrower-puncher ended up facing a pesky civil suit as a result? The Donald has your back.

β€œSo if you see someone getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of β€˜em,” he said. β€œI will pay for the legal fees. I promise.”
