Romney Heads Back to Iowa Next Week As Speculation Over VP Announcement Swirls
GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney has plans for a private fundraiser at Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines on Tuesday, and additional public events in Iowa.

Mitt Romney is planning another trip to Iowa, this time for a private fundraising event at a country club in West Des Moines.
The Des Moines Register is reporting, based on an invitation shared with the newspaper, that the presumptive Republican presidential nominee will be at in West Des Moines on Tuesday evening.
A campaign staffer told the paper that the former Massachusetts governor will also hold public events while he is in town.

Both and President are spending time in Iowa, which is seen as a key battleground state for election 2012. Obama was in Cedar Rapids in July.
CNN reports that Romney is stopping in several swing states this week and next, including Colorado, Indiana, Nevada and Ohio.
