When Is Santa Claus Coming To West Des Moines?

Get ready, because Santa Claus is coming to West Des Moines! This holiday season, the man in red is spreading holiday joy all over town. Skate with Santa

When: Saturday, Dec. 2
Where: MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex - 6500 Grand Ave; West Des Moines, IA 50266
What: Join Santa at 12:15 p.m. for a fun-filled skating session at the RecPlex during public skate hours. Bring your kids and your camera to take pictures and skate alongside Santa. Admission is $11, and skates can be rented for $4. Click here for more info.

Holidays at the Town Center

When: Saturday, Dec. 2
Where: Johnston Town Center - 6245 Merle Hay Road; Johnston, IA 50131
What: Stop by this annual holiday event in nearby Johnston from 4- 6 p.m. featuring free ice skating, a visit with Santa and his reindeer, samples from local businesses and a community tree lighting. Enjoy performances by Dancer's Theatre, Midwest Youth Performing Arts Center and Unaccompanied Minors.
