• FHSU partners with Kansas' 19 community colleges on new scholarship program (hayspost.com) — Colby Community College students planning to transfer to Fort Hays State could benefit from a new scholarship fund that local president Seth Carter can award directly to those with the greatest financial need. FHSU is extending this opportunity to all 19 Kansas community colleges, aiming to smooth transfer pathways and boost retention starting with awards for the 2026–27 academic year.
