The driver ran off and hasn’t been found, though police used a drone to search overnight. The passenger and two people in the van were hospitalized, but no one inside the home was injured.

Douglas County commissioners approve the purchase of land next to Lone Star Lake Park (ljworld.com) — Douglas County commissioners have approved buying 23 acres next to Lone Star Lake Park, aiming to boost public access, conservation and water quality using remaining federal rescue funds.
