• RCPD Report: 12/15/25 (1350kman.com) — Riley County police reports this week include several arrests and investigations that matter to Ogden residents, including a probation-violation arrest of a 22-year-old woman from Ogden. Officers also detailed major theft, drug, and violent-crime cases in Manhattan and surrounding areas, and reminded the public that anonymous Crime Stoppers tips can earn cash rewards.
   

• Facial recognition technology coming to Fort Riley (ksnt.com) — Drivers using Fort Riley’s Ogden Gate will soon see new facial-recognition lanes that let approved users enter without stopping to show ID. Starting Friday, Dec. 19, registered drivers can use cameras that match their faces to photos on file, speeding up access while keeping security tight. Details and registration instructions are available on Fort Riley’s website.
