Two women hospitalized after early-morning shooting in southeast Kansas (ksn.com) — Two young women were seriously injured in an early-morning shooting in a Pittsburg alley near West 20th and North Walnut, and a 23-year-old local man is jailed on aggravated battery suspicions. Police say an argument in a vehicle preceded the gunfire, and the victims were flown to KU Medical Center in stable condition. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact Pittsburg police or the anonymous tip line.

Headlines for Monday, December 15, 2025 (kansaspublicradio.org) — Two women in their 20s were seriously injured in an early-Sunday alley shooting in north Pittsburg and flown to Kansas City, where they’re now in stable condition.
