- Topeka Police are investigating an incident that left two people injured in downtown Topeka on Saturday night, Mar. 18. After reports of a disturbance, police found two victims suffering from non-life-threatening injuries at the 400 block of SW 9th Street. Anyone with information on this aggravated battery case is asked to call TPD at 785-368-9400 or the Shawnee Co. Crime Stoppers at 785-234-0007. (WIBW)
- From noon until 7:00 p.m. on Mar. 20, there is a Fire Weather Watch for central and east-central Kansas, including Topeka. Due to near-critical fire weather conditions, including dry conditions and southwest winds gusting up to 40 mph, fires will be able to spread rapidly.
