Man arrested in Danville after allegedly jumping out of ambulance following car crash (fox56news.com) — A man was arrested after a two-vehicle crash near KY-34 and Old Bridge Road, then allegedly jumping out of an ambulance before Danville Police detained him. Boyle County deputies say witnesses reported erratic driving and signs of alcohol use, and the driver now faces DUI and related charges, though no serious injuries were reported.
   

4. 5 SLO County cities nominated for America's ‘favorite small town.' Which ones? (fresnobee.com) — Danville is currently one of Parade magazine’s frontrunners for its nationwide “Favorite Small Town in America” contest, putting the community on a national stage. Residents can vote daily on Parade’s website, and winners will be announced in spring and early summer 2026, potentially bringing extra recognition and tourism attention if Danville stays near the top.
