• Lyon County Sheriff's Office Reports Multiple Arrests Following Investigation (marshallcountydaily.com) — Several Eddyville residents face serious charges after a week of Lyon County Sheriff’s Office investigations, including an alleged drug trafficking case centered in Eddyville. Deputies also executed multiple indictment and bench warrants across the region, with all suspects held or awaiting extradition and presumed innocent until proven guilty.
   

• Lady Lyons roar past visiting Hopkinsville (whopam.com) — Lyon County’s Lady Lyons dominated a home game in Eddyville, routing Hopkinsville 80–26 behind a big first quarter from Piper Cotham. The win moves Lyon County to 4–1 on the season, with balanced scoring and strong three-point shooting energizing local fans.
   

• Elmer Gibson, 93, of Kuttawa (wpkyonline.com) — A longtime Kuttawa resident, 93-year-old Elmer Lee Gibson, has passed away, with arrangements being handled by Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville. Gibson was a successful businessman, devoted Christian, and avid outdoorsman remembered for his storytelling, generosity, and deep love for family and community. His cremation and celebration of life will be held privately at a later date.
