Just over $2.9M in Affordable Housing Program funding to benefit local projects - WNKY News 40 Television (wnky.com) — Scottsville is set to gain 60 new affordable rental units through the Houston Heights project, backed by a $1.1 million grant from FHLB Cincinnati’s 2025 Affordable Housing Program. In total, nearly $3 million is going to Bowling Green and Scottsville projects, aimed at residents earning at or below 80% of area median income.

The HIVE to expand services to Allen County (wbko.com) — Adults with intellectual disabilities in Scottsville and Allen County will soon have local access to The HIVE’s life-skills clubhouse instead of traveling to Bowling Green. Staff say Scottsville’s tight-knit feel will shape the new space, with an open house planned for January 2026 and services starting in February.

Jeff Reed steps down as music director of Orchestra Kentucky - WNKY News 40 Television (wnky.com) — Scottsville music lovers may be interested to know that Orchestra Kentucky’s longtime music director and co-founder Jeff Reed plans to step down after the 2026–27 season. Reed, whose orchestra has performed in Scottsville and across Kentucky, says he’s ready to enjoy concerts from the audience while a new director is sought to take the ensemble to the next level.
