Northwestern State University (NSU) brought the campus community together on November 18 for a special Thanksgiving lunch at the Iberville Dining Hall. The event was open to all students, faculty, and staff, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere to celebrate the spirit of the holiday.
The menu featured classic Thanksgiving dishes, including roasted turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, and creamy macaroni and cheese. The meal was prepared by NSU Dining by Sodexo, led by Chef Jimier and the talented team at Iberville Dining Hall. NSU President James Genovese added a personal touch by carving the turkey, creating a memorable moment for attendees.
“What an incredible event! The atmosphere was electric, filled with excitement and energy. From the warmth of the food to the personal touch of President Genovese carving the turkey, every detail reflected NSU’s and Sodexo’s commitment to student engagement,” said Jennifer A. Kelly, Executive Director of University Affairs at Northwestern State University.
