• St. Charles Parish to embark on $10 million drainage project, reduce flooding issues (wgno.com) — A year-long, $10 million drainage project is finally underway to move stormwater under the CN Railroad and ease the flooding Destrehan residents have endured for nearly 40 years. Parish leaders say the long-promised work, now in its construction phase, should bring long-awaited relief to this hard-hit neighborhood once completed.
